He runs the business alongside me and is a huge support. But this is MY company. I built it. I shaped it. I run it and I make the decisions.
I’m a 5ft 3 woman, and apparently that alone makes some people assume I can’t be the owner or decision-maker. The glances, the redirected questions, the assumptions, they’re subtle, but they’re not harmless. It’s offensive and insulting
